Abstract: Abstract The present invention relates to a flexible dental bite block which is provided with a rigid outer support structure. In this invention, there is the use of a dual- layer flexible dental bite block, which can be used during dental operations, requiring the mouth of the patient to remain open for a long time. This invention utilizes the presence of an inner layer that is soft, resilient and biocompatible to offer cushioning effects to the patient's dental structure. The outer layer comprises a rigid support structure, whose main function is to ensure the dimensional stability of the device.
