Abstract: Accurate identification of renal stone composition plays a vital role in guiding effective treatment and preventing recurrence in patients with nephrolithiasis. Dual Energy Computed Tomography (DECT) has emerged as a powerful imaging technique that distinguishes different types of renal calculi based on their spectral properties. However, conventional DECT analysis can be limited by overlapping material signatures and operator variability. This study presents an AI-enhanced approach that integrates machine learning algorithms with DECT imaging to improve the precision and reliability of stone composition characterization. By analyzing spectral data and extracting detailed radiomic features, the Al system can accurately classify various stone types such as uric acid, calcium oxalate, and stnivite. This non-invasive method enables faster diagnosis and personalized treatment planning without the need for invasive sampling or lengthy biochemical tests. The AI-powered DECT platform offers clinicians an intuitive and efficient tool, streamlining image interpretation and enhancing diagnostic confidence.
