Abstract: ABSTRACT The Dual Copter Drone is a two-rotor, lightweight, unmanned aerial vehicle (commonly referred to as the DualCoptor) intended to minimize mechanical complexity, power usage and parts cost without compromising the flight characteristics of a stable and efficient high-performance drone. Contrary to the conventional quadcopters which utilize 4 motors, the DualCoptor has just 2 counterrotating and brushless motors with a streamlined- control underlying this system giving it the ability to achieve strict stability, yaw control and maneuverability. This streamlined structure enhances flight efficiency, battery life, and provides a platform that is suitable to surveillance, research, photo-capturing as well as educational purposes. Its design focuses on the ease of assembly, modularity and payload flexibility
