Abstract: ABSTRACT DUAL-AXIS AUTOMATIC SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH AN AUTOMATIC CLEANING MECHANISM The present invention relates to a dual axis automatic solar tracking system (100) integrated with an automatic cleaning mechanism to improve solar energy efficiency. The system comprises Light Dependent Resistors (101) that detect sunlight intensity from different directions and send signals to a microcontroller unit (102), which determines the optimal orientation of the solar panel (103), stepper motors (104) that adjust the panel position along horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (elevation) axis to track the sun continuously, motor driver module (105) controls the movement of stepper motors (104). Additionally, the system incorporates an automatic cleaning unit (106) comprising of a water pump (107) and spray nozzles/wipers (108) to remove dust accumulation from the panel surface. Unlike conventional fixed solar panels, this system (100) ensures maximum sunlight absorption throughout the day and maintains panel cleanliness, thereby increasing efficiency, reducing maintenance, and improving overall energy output.
