Abstract: ABSTRACT DRY POWDER INHALER DEVICE WITH THERMAL CONDITIONING A dry powder inhaler device (100) comprises a housing (2) defining an airflow passage extending from at least one inlet to a mouthpiece (1) having an exit port. A dispensing region is in fluid communication with the airflow passage and configured to receive a medicament-containing powder. At least one thermal conditioning element (5) is arranged along an inner surface of the inlet and configured to elevate a temperature of airflow entering the housing (2). A power source (7) is operatively coupled to the thermal conditioning element (5). A user-operable switch (9) is configured to control operation of the thermal conditioning element (5). The elevated temperature airflow interacts with the medicament-containing powder within the dispensing region to reduce particle adhesion and enhance deagglomeration.
