Abstract: A dry-ice blasting based bark removal device for tree trunk, comprising a housing 101 positioned on a ground surface, a chamber 102 stores a bag 103 of dry ice, a motorized lid 104 tilt for closing chamber 102, a motorized slider 202 attached with a pneumatic blade 203, that extend, and tear bag 103, an imaging unit 105 detects exact location of trunk, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 106 maneuvers and position housing 101 nearby to first end of trunk, a plate 107 installed on housing 101 via a link 108 and carved with multiple slots 109 that are engaged with multiple nozzles 110, a telescopically operated gripper 111 grips one of nozzles 110 of determined size from plate 107 and engaging nozzles 110, a robotic arm 112 assembled on housing 101, an electric pump 204 pumps dry ice towards via a conduit 113 interconnected between pipe and hose.
