Abstract: A drone system with an autonomous charging station, orthogonal repositioning actuators, and an integrated jammer module provides an automated, long-endurance solution for low-altitude aerial surveillance and countermeasure operations. The system includes a multi-sensor quadcopter drone featuring carbon fiber arms, a Pixhawk flight controller, and an integrated payload suite consisting of LiDAR, infrared, and FPV sensors to achieve complete situational awareness and obstacle avoidance. An electronic warfare payload is managed by a top-mounted jammer module that deploys via a linear actuator to block hostile RF channels, using a built-in safety interlock to automatically kill transmissions during landing, docking, or charging phases. The ground station features an IP65 weatherproof charging house equipped with an automated landing pad and an orthogonal X–Y motorized slider mechanism. Upon drone landing, the sliders adjust the drone's position along spiked tracking channels to align its charging port with a mechanical pogo-pin connector. Backed by an internal 20Ah storage battery, the station manages safe fast-charging cycles based on real-time voltage and temperature feedback, minimizing human involvement and ensuring rapid redeployment across multi-drone security grids.
