Abstract: The present invention describes a drone-based mobile weather station integrated with machine learning framework for precise crop water management and tomato leaf disease prediction. The drone-based Ml system is created by fusing two different technologies. In the initial stage of the system, a drone equipped with sensors is utilized to collect real-time meteorological data, such as temperature, humidity, solar radiation, atmospheric pressure and brightness to calculate the accurate water requirement using random forest machine learning algorithm, effectively manage irrigation and conserve water. The second part of the system uses deep learning technique to identify leaf diseases in diverse crops. A camera on the drone can capture images of crops which are processed by the Convolution Neural Network (CNN) system, which looks for any signs of sickness like malformed or discolored leaves. Thus this drone-based early leaf-disease detection using CNN and water-requirement calculation using ML technique can help farmers make better management decisions, improving crop yields, reducing losses and to optimize the water use efficiency of the tomato crop.
