Abstract: A driver monitoring and accident prevention system, comprising an ergonomic vehicle seat 101, equipped with multiple pressure sensors to detect driver presence, a seat belt harness equipped with an electromagnetic locking unit 103 to securely lock around the driver’s body and prevent driver displacement during operation, a telescopic arm 108 and coupled to a cylindrical air intake channel 110, equipped with a sensor suite attached to enable the driver to blow into the channel for alcohol detection and enable a microcontroller to generate an alert and prevent vehicle start, a camera 111 to monitor the user and enable the microcontroller with AI (artificial intelligence) to utilize FER (facial expression recognition) protocols for detecting fatigue, drowsiness and nausea, a water storage reservoir 112 via a delivery channel 114 to controllably spray water on the driver’s face upon AI-based drowsiness detection.
