The drive power system (100) comprises a support structure (110’), a plurality of drive units (102) mounted onto the support structure (110’), one or more power units (104) to supply electrical power to the plurality of drive units (102), a plurality of gear drives (106) operatively coupled with the plurality of drive units (102) and an auxiliary mechanism (108). A second drive unit (102-2) and a third drive unit (102-3) of the plurality of drive units (102) can be operatively coupled with a first rear wheel assembly (120’-1) and a second rear wheel assembly (120’-2) of the electric tractor (100’), respectively. A first drive unit (102-1) of the plurality of drive units (102) may be coupled either or both of: the auxiliary mechanism (108) and the one or more wheel assemblies (120’-3, 120’-4) of the electric tractor (100’) for delivering power.
