Abstract: The invention relates to a drive circuit (12) for a roof assembly, the roof assembly comprising a roof panel (2a) movable between a closed position and an opened position by a motor (9), the drive circuit (12) comprising an H-bridge (13) comprising switch elements (S1-S4) for controlling the speed of the motor (9); a reverse polarity protection switch (14), such as a MOSFET; and at least one measurement circuit (26, 26’). Wherein the drive circuit (12) is configured for receiving a PWM-signal with a duty cycle for operating the H-bridge (13). And wherein the at least one measurement circuit (26, 26’) is configured for performing a current measurement of at least one of the switch elements (S1-S4, 14) respectively.
