Abstract: A field installable rejection interlock system including a breaker kit and a cassette kit prevents insertion of a drawout circuit breaker into an electrically incompatible frame. The breaker kit gets installed on the breaker exterior and includes a side mounting plate, an actuator blade, and a slider plate. The cassette kit gets installed in the cassette interior and includes a mounting bracket, a driven lever with an L-bracket attached, and a ramp. In their default states, the driven lever is positioned with the L- bracket obstructing movement of the incompatible circuit breaker into the cassette, or the slider plate is positioned to obstruct movement of the breaker into the incompatible cassette. In the case of a combination of a compatible breaker and cassette, the ramp pushes the slider plate to remove the first obstruction/interlock, and the actuator blade actuates rotation of the driven lever and L-bracket to remove the second obstruction/interlock.
