Abstract: The invention relates to a drawer (2) having a base (4), a front panel (3), two side walls (1) and a back wall (5), which form an interior space of the drawer (2) which is open towards the top and closed towards the bottom by the base (4), wherein the side walls (1) each have a one-part inner wall (11) with an integrally formed groove- like receptacle (114) for the base (4) of the drawer (2), wherein the receptacle (114) is formed as a channel and has two substantially horizontal groove sides (1151, 1152) between which a substantially vertical groove bottom (115) is arranged, wherein the side walls (1) also comprise an outer wall (12) mounted on the inner wall (11), wherein the inner wall (11) and the outer wall (12) enclose a hollow space of the respective side wall (1), and have at least carrier (13) in the hollow space, said carrier comprising a holding portion (131). The groove bottom (115) has a contact face (116) for an end side (41) of the base (4) which projects from at least one recess (117) to one of the end sides (41) of the base (4), wherein the holding portion (131) is fastened to the contact face (116) on the side facing away from the groove bottom (115), and at least one of the at least one recess (117) of the groove bottom (115) rests at least partially against the separate outer wall (12).
