Abstract: A draw string insertion device for clothes, comprising a platform 101 position on a fixed surface and installed with a spiral-shaped member 102 via an L-shaped rod 103, a cloth to be inserted with a draw string 107, an imaging unit 104 paired detects exact location of cloth, two telescopically operated grippers 105 grips cloth and stretches cloth in a manner to allow camera to monitor dimensions of waist portion of cloth, a first robotic arm 106 grips a free-end of a draw string 107 wrapped on a spool 108 installed on platform 101 via an L-shaped link 109, and engaging free-end with a needle 110 attached with free-end of rod 103, a second robotic arm 111 equipped with a motorized cutter 112, for cutting engaged length of draw string 107 via cutter 112, a speaker 113 notifying user to collect cloth from platform 101.
