MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094209 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on November 30, 2024, for Drainage Trench Digging Device.

Abstract: A drainage trench digging device, comprises of a cuboidal housing 101 consisting a seat inside the housing 101 for a seating of a user, transparent lateral surfaces for allowing the user to view surroundings, a pair of tracked wheels 102 for a locomotion of the housing 101 over a rough terrain, a pair of rigid L-shaped arms 103, to position a rectangular flap 105 with a sharp edge attached rigidly at a bottom of the arm for digging trench having a constant depth and width on the undulating terrain each the arm having, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 106 installed on the housing 101 to detect an undulating terrain to determine a position of the flap 105s to dig the trench having a constant depth and width.
