Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to base stations, apparatuses and methods for determining a downlink (DL) signal. In an aspect, a first network device determines a DL signal of a cell. The first network device further transmits information associated with the DL signal to a second network device. By implementing the embodiments of the present disclosure, a solution of determining a DL signal to support on-demand synchronization signal and/or physical broadcast channel block (SSB) and/or system information block 1 (SIB1) can be provided. For example, the determination of the SSB and/or SIB1 transmission for an on-demand SSB and/or SIB1 secondary cell (SCell) and interaction information between centralized unit (CU) and distributed unit (DU) nodes can be provided.
