Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: DOOR MAT SECURITY SYSTEM The titled invention discloses a smart security system for detecting unauthorized entry at doorways using a sensor-integrated door mat. The system comprises a door mat (1) embedded with pressure sensors (2) and an infrared sensor (3) positioned near the entrance to accurately detect the presence of a person. A microcontroller (4) is 10 configured to receive and process signals from the sensors and to determine the occurrence of an entry event based on combined sensor inputs, thereby reducing false alarms. Upon detection, the system activates a buzzer (6) to generate an audible alert and an LED (7) to provide a visual indication, while simultaneously transmitting realtime notifications to a remote mobile device through a communication module (5). The 15, system operates automatically without reliance on cameras or wearable devices, thereby preserving user privacy and eliminating user dependency.
