Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CORROBORATIVE DATA ACQUISITION WITH DISCREPANCY RECONCILIATION The present disclosure provides a distributed system (108) and method (1400) for corroborative data acquisition. A server (103) receives a first data stream from a first user node and a second data stream from a second user node distinct from the first user node, the first data stream indicating a first observation and the second data stream indicating a second observation pertaining to a subject. A discrepancy is detected based on a comparison of the first observation and the second observation, the discrepancy indicating a factual conflict. A mediated clarifying query is generated based on the detected discrepancy and transmitted to at least one user node. A clarification response is received, and a reconciled output is generated based on the clarification response, the first observation, and the second observation. The reconciled output is transmitted to at least one user node distinct from the first user node and the second user node.
