Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system for real-time monitoring and adaptive management of soil carbon sequestration in agricultural fields. The system (100) includes multiple sensor nodes (102) deployed across zones of the field. Each sensor node (102) is equipped with carbon dioxide sensor (102-2) to measure soil respiration, soil condition detection sensors (102-4) to capture supporting conditions, a microcontroller (102-6) for initial data processing, and communication unit (102-8) for wireless transmission. Sensor data is collected and stored with time, location, and weather parameters in a data collection and storage system (104). A central processing unit (106) processes the data using machine learning models to estimate soil carbon levels and carbon stability values for each zone. Based on the estimates, a decision support system (108) generates farming recommendations, which are displayed through a user interface (110). Continuous monitoring of soil response after interventions enables refinement of future recommendations.
