MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097078 A) filed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on August 11, 2026, for Distributed Orchestration Of Containerized Metaheuristic Optimization Workloads.

Inventors include Murali, Ritwik; Eeswaran, Aadithyaa; and Bhardwaj, Sanyam.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a distributed computing system (100) and a method (400) for orchestrating containerized metaheuristic optimization workloads across heterogeneous computing devices. The system (100) includes a master device (102) communicably coupled to worker devices (104, 104-N) over a persistent bidirectional communication channel carrying a resource utilization metric at a periodic interval, a scheduler (102-6) that determines an instance count on a memory value as a primary criterion and on a fairness value as a secondary criterion, a master container (102-8) holding a master population (208), and a worker container (104- 6) running primitive functional components (310) upon a worker population (308). A candidate individual is carried as a bytestring together with a fitness value as a floating-point value over the persistent bidirectional communication channel.
