MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641078780 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on June 25, 2026, for Distributed Computing System And Method For Event-Time Synchronized Financial Surveillance Infrastructure.

Inventors include Dr. Arulkumar V; Gajavibushitha D; Shrinidhi K; Niranjana B; and Bharath Balaji S.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a distributed computing system (100) for event-time synchronized financial surveillance infrastructure. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having a processor (104) that executes plurality of modules (114). A data ingestion module (116) configured to receive and validate financial market-event records, an event-time stream- processing module (118) configured to perform event-time watermark synchronized processing, manage delayed and out-of-order records, maintain stream-state information, and generate tumbling event-time windows, a window aggregation module (120) configured to compute aggregated market statistics, an anomaly detection module (122) configured to identify anomaly events through composite anomaly evaluation, an anomaly alert notification module (124), a partitioned storage management module (126), and a visualization module (128). The system (100) enables fault-tolerant, event-time synchronized, and continuous surveillance processing of financial event streams with generation of monitoring outputs corresponding to financial instruments.
