Abstract: Distributed Bio-Powered Sentinel Network For Autonomous Forest Protection And Illegal Logging Prevention This invention describes a distributed bio-powered sentinel network system for detecting and preventing illegal logging in remote forest environments. The system comprises sentinel nodes integrated within natural trees and decoy structures, powered through bioelectric harvesting and microbial fuel cells to enable long-term autonomous operation without reliance on conventional batteries. Each node incorporates a multi-signature threat detection framework including vibration, acoustic, thermal, smoke, and magnetometer sensing. An embedded artificial intelligence module analyzes and correlates sequential anomalies to distinguish unlawful logging activities from natural disturbances, thereby reducing false positives. Communication is achieved through a hybrid architecture combining self- healing mesh networks with long-range LoRa and satellite uplinks, ensuring resilient data transmission under canopy obstruction or deliberate jamming. Eco-camouflage and decoy clusters render the system visually imperceptible, while anti-tamper protocols erase data and issue distress alerts upon interference. The system provides geo-referenced alerts to enforcement authorities, enabling rapid intervention and effective forest protection.
