Abstract: A display device 100 includes a liquid crystal display panel 2 and a protective panel 1 covering a front side of the liquid crystal display panel 2. The front side of the liquid crystal display panel 2 and a back side of the protective panel 1 are joined together with a transparent adhesive 3. The liquid crystal display panel 2 includes a front side glass 2a facing the back side of the protective panel 1, and a back side glass 2b laminated on the back side of the front side glass 2a. The back side glass 2b includes an electrode portion 2c to which a wiring is connected. A thickness t1 of the front side glass 2a is larger than a thickness t2 of the back side glass 2b.
