MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621090179 A) filed by Marwadi University; and Bai Sahebba High School on July 24, 2026, for Direction Controlled Biological Growth And Observation Assistive Device.

Inventors include Yashri Rupapara; Riddhi Patodiya; Neha Bhavesh Bhai Rajvir; and Prof. Jignesh Jentilal Kariya.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: A direction controlled biological growth and observation assistive device, comprising a base structure 101, a plurality of guide paths 103 to direct capillary moisture flow, a lid 104 to seal the base structure 101, each of the indicator light 108 to indicate localized moisture status, a heating element for maintaining a localized microclimate within a pre-defined range, an imaging module 109 to capture top-view images of the growth surface 102 at periodic intervals, a motorized gate 107 to open in response to a voltage signal triggered when the moisture falls below a threshold value, and a microcontroller for processing the feedback to regulate actuation of the gate 107 between an open or a close position to maintain moisture for growth and modulate the corresponding indicator light 108 to provide real-time visual mapping of the moisture within the growth environment based on growth density and spread direction.
