MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517082994 A) filed by Kunshan Glvac Yuantong New Energy Technology on September 01, 2025, for Direct Current Relay Provided With Auxiliary Contact Points.
Inventors include Gu, Chunpeng; Liu, Tianjie; and Yang, Jifan.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed in the present utility model is a direct current relay provided with auxiliary contact points, comprising: stationary contacts, a movable contact piece, auxiliary stationary contact points, an auxiliary movable contact piece, and a push rod assembly; the push rod assembly is used for driving the movable contact piece to be connected to or disconnected from the stationary contacts, and also driving the auxiliary movable contact piece to be connected to or disconnected from the auxiliary stationary contact points; the push rod assembly comprises an insulating base; the auxiliary movable contact piece is fixedly provided at the bottom of the insulating base; the auxiliary movable contact piece is provided with lever extension portions located at the bottom of the insulating base, and auxiliary contact terminals extending outward from the insulating base and arranged opposite to the auxiliary stationary contact points; and the lever extension portions and the auxiliary contact terminals are integrally connected to form auxiliary movable contact arms. In the present utility model, when the internal space of the relay is fixed, the lever length of the auxiliary movable contact piece can be prolonged as much as possible, thereby effectively solving the risk that, in practical use, the auxiliary contact points may not be electrically connected upon closure due to yielding or even break of material caused by a short lever of the auxiliary movable contact piece, ensuring normal operation of the relay.
