Abstract: Provided is a digital vision comparator (DVC) that includes an image capturing unit for capturing images of an object and a housing that contains the image capturing unit. The DVC also includes first and second illumination assemblies aligned with the image capturing unit along an axis. The first and second illumination assemblies illuminate the object for imaging by the image capturing unit. The DVC further includes a rotary turret including a plurality of lenses and coupled to the housing. The rotary turret is rotatable about the axis between a plurality of positions. At each of the plurality of positions, a corresponding lens of the plurality of lenses is aligned along the axis. The rotary turret includes a locking mechanism for locking the rotary turret at each of the plurality of positions, based on a rotation of the rotary turret to a corresponding position.
