Abstract: The present invention is concerned with a Digital Twin-Enabled Deep Learning Framework for Real-Time Intelligent System Optimization (DT-DL-RISO) that allows for continuous virtual representation, monitoring, prediction and autonomous optimization of physical systems. The proposed framework combines a digital twin model and deep learning, real-time sensing, data analysis, and adaptive decision-making to create a dynamic relationship between a physical system and its virtual twin. Operational information such as system state, environmental information, resource utilization, performance parameters, and fault indicators is obtained from distributed sensors in real time and fed into the digital twin for continuous synchronization. The historical and live data are analysed by a deep learning engine, which can identify complex system behavior, predict performance degradation, detect abnormal conditions and estimate future operating states. The intelligent optimization module determines the optimum operating parameters, resource allocation strategies, control actions and maintenance decisions based on the prediction of the conditions. A bidirectional feedback mechanism allows for optimized decision-making in the virtual world to be assessed on the physical system and selectively transferred to it, and the physical response optimizes the virtual version of the learning model and digital twin. The framework proposed can be adapted to industrial IoT, smart manufacturing, energy systems, intelligent transportation, robotics, smart infrastructure, autonomous systems and other complex cyber-physical systems.
