Inventors include Channambhika D S; Dayananda Sagar Academy Of Technology And Management; Sandhya N; Amrutha Varshni G R; Adithyan; and Apoorva Ganga M S.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated cyber-physical digital twin architecture for real-time emergency evacuation management in smart buildings and complex urban infrastructure, incorporating an AI-driven semantic interoperability middleware (Layer 1.5) and an accessibility arbitration layer (Layer 4.5). The middleware integrates heterogeneous telemetry from Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), and BIM/IFC sources; automatically proposes ontology mappings for unmapped devices using embedding-based similarity classification; resolves contradictory system states through probabilistic data fusion using Bayesian updating or Dempster-Shafer evidential combination; and publishes a versioned canonical digital-twin knowledge graph. The accessibility arbitration layer dynamically re-weights evacuation routes based on registered mobility, visual, or auditory accessibility profiles and performs mandatory live verification of required infrastructure, including elevator fire-service
