Abstract: ABSTRACT DIGITAL TWIN-BASED ACADEMIC WORKLOAD MONITORING SYSTEM A digital twin-based academic workload monitoring system (100) comprises a processor (102) and a memory (104) storing instructions that cause the system (100) to receive, via an academic event logging interface (110), event data representing academic activities of a student, wherein the event data comprises metadata including a task type, an estimated workload value, a timestamp, and a deadline, store the event data in a database (120), generate and maintain a digital twin workload model (130) representing a current academic workload state of the student updated based on the event data, analyse the digital twin workload model (130) using a prediction engine (140) to predict a cognitive overload condition based on comparison of the current academic workload state with a predefined threshold, and generate, via an alert notification module (150), an alert notification when the predicted cognitive overload condition exceeds the predefined threshold
