The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The titled invention discloses a fully automated, portable footwear storage kiosk for public and devotional places. The kiosk comprises a base movable stand (1) supporting an enclosure cabin (2) divided into multiple locker cabins (3), each fitted with a magnet activated lock (12) that is electronically unlockable and manually lockable. A control interface (7) integrating an LCD monitor (8), a key pad (11), a scanner (9), and a QR-code-based payment port (10) enables cashless transactions and user guidance. Upon successful payment, the system unlocks an available locker, allowing the user to manually place footwear inside, and dispenses a uniquely coded digital token through a token insert terminal (13). For retrieval, the user presents the token to the scanner (9), which reads the code and triggers the corresponding lock to release the door. The kiosk incorporates a passive cross-ventilation system comprising external ventilation grills (5) on all sides and internal ventilation racks (6) within each locker, ensuring continuous airflow to eliminate odors. An LED status indicator (4) provides real-time visual feedback. The entire system operates without human intervention, offers secure tamper-proof access, ensures hygiene through natural ventilation, and is portable for easy installation at any public location. The invention eliminates manual attendants, reduces queuing time, and provides a contactless, user-friendly footwear storage solution.
