Inventors include Dr. Hina Hasan; and Dr. Mohd. Talib Ather Ansari.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital learning system employing linear and branching frames in an LMS-driven teaching machine for B.Ed. trainee teachers. The system divides instructional subject matter into a plurality of small, logically sequenced instructional frames, each frame providing instructional information followed by a learner response activity, preferably a multiple-choice question. In a linear programmed instruction mode, a learner response is followed by immediate feedback and progression to a subsequent frame in a predetermined fixed sequence. In a branching programmed instruction mode, the learner response is evaluated at a decision point, wherein a correct response causes progression to a next main instructional frame and an incorrect response causes diversion to a remedial frame containing explanatory or corrective instruction. Following the remedial frame, the learner is redirected to the main instructional path. The instructional frames may be interconnected through hyperlinks or equivalent digital navigation relationships. The system thereby combines fixed-sequence programmed learning and adaptive branching programmed learning within a common LMS-driven teaching machine, providing active learner participation, immediate feedback, remedial instruction, self- paced progression, and response-dependent individualized learning particularly for B.Ed. trainee teachers.
