Abstract: The present invention is directed to a Digital Identity Panic Button System, which provides instant protection against the compromise of digital identity. With the rising number of crimes, such as mobile phone stealing, SIM swap fraud, OTP leakage, and unauthorized access to digital identity, users face serious financial and personal data loss due to the lack of instant response systems. The system developed will have a mobile or web interface, which will integrate a centralized cloud server system. Once a certain security threat is identified, a single emergency operation will be performed using a panic button through authenticator authentication, posing a risk to temporary restrictions on password-permitted online facilities, including but not limited to, bank facilities, UPI platforms, email accounts, and various social media platforms, alongside using telecommunication network-based OTPs. Simultaneously, notifications will be sent to service providers for further recovery actions. The novelty of the invention is based on the single-point emergency declaration mechanism that controls a wide range of independent digital control services simultaneously.
