MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641122401 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical on October 13, 2026, for Digital Automatic Pid Temperature Control System.

Inventors include T. Pavani Sandhya; Dr. Navin Kumar; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: This project will discuss the development of a digital automatic PID temperature control system that can effectively control temperature in real time using a feedback control system. In general, temperature control can be done using conventional control techniques by manually adjusting the system or using ON/OFF control techniques. This has resulted in significant problems like overshooting and instability in temperature control. The system will be based on a microcontroller that will be programmed to implement a PID control algorithm. This will enable the system to automatically control the temperature by adjusting the heating and/or cooling system to bring the temperature to the set point. The system will have sensors that will continuously monitor the temperature and adjust the heating and/or cooling system to bring the temperature to the set point. The system will have a digital interface that will enable the user to set the parameters and monitor the system. This will ensure stability and faster response time. The invention will be applicable in many fields.
