MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621051038 A) filed by Hetalben Hirenkumar Savaliya; and Hirenkumar Vallabhbhai Savaliya on April 22, 2026, for Diamond Multi-Junction Semiconductor Detector With Hermetic Electrical Feedthroughs.

Inventor includes Hirenkumar Vallabhbhai Savaliya.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: A diamond multi-junction semiconductor detector with hermetic electrical feedthroughs is disclosed. The detector module (100) comprises a diamond semiconductor stack (134) including a first intrinsic diamond layer (144) and a second intrinsic diamond layer (148) disposed in opposed relation, and a plurality of doped diamond layers including a first p-type diamond layer (140), a first n-type diamond layer (142), a second n-type diamond layer (150), and a second p-type diamond layer (152) arranged to form multiple internal electric-field regions (194). A central intermediate layer (146) is disposed between the intrinsic diamond layers (144, 148). Electrical output is collected through metallized contact pads (160, 162) and transferred through hermetic electrical feedthroughs (170, 172) to external terminals (180, 182). The detector is housed within a sealed enclosure volume (196) defined by ceramic support plates (120, 122) and is configured to detect external excitation entering along an excitation path (190).
