The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a minimally invasive system and method for the diagnosis and nonsurgical management of periodontal and pen-implant sulcular pocket inner areas using a dental videoscope. Conventional periodontal therapy relies on blind instrumentation during scaling and _mit Tinning; which _may_ result _ in incQmplete_ debridement and residual biofilm within deep periodontal and pen-implant pockets. This invention introduces a videoscope-assisted visualization system that enables real-time magnified imaging of the sulcular pocket inner surface, root surface, and implant threads. The system enhances diagnostic accuracy and facilitates precise non-surgical debridement under direct visualization. The device integrates a micro-camera probe with illumination, irrigation capability, and digital display interface, allowing clinicians to detect subgingival calculus, biofilm, inflamed granulation tissue, and implant surface contamination. By combining optical visualization technology with non-surgical periodontal instrumentation, this invention improves treatment precision, patient comfort, and clinical outcomes while reducing the need for surgical intervention.
