Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel polymer-based topical spray formulation, herein referred to as C-PolyMatrix-Heal Spray, developed for accelerating the healing of diabetic wounds. The formulation comprises a biocompatible polymeric matrix integrated with a marine macroalgae extract derived trom Swgassum wightii as a principal therapeutic agent, along with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Upon topical application, the spray forms a uniform polymeric matrix over the wound surface, facilitating sustained release of marine bioactive compounds. The fommlation exhibits enhanced wound closure, reduced inflammation, effective antimicrobial protection. and improved tissue regeneration, thereby addressing the complex pathophysiology associated with diabetic wounds.
