Abstract: A device for reducing patient anxiety and motion during magnetic resonance imaging, comprising a cushioned body 101 to provide anatomical stabilization and patient comfort during MRI scanning, a supportive core comprising high-density foam to anatomically support at least one of a patient’s head, neck, shoulders, lumbar region, or lower limbs, at least one magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-compatible audio transducer 102 to deliver relaxation audio during MRI scanning, a plurality of internal acoustic chambers 103 to distribute sound from the audio transducer 102 toward the patient’s ears, a plurality of MRI-safe electrical wiring 104 routed through internal channels 105 within the cushioned body 101 to provide electrical connectivity between associated components, and an external audio connection interface to connect with an MRI-compatible audio source for receiving audio signals and enabling relaxation audio delivery without interfering with MRI operation.
