Abstract: TITLE OF INVENTION: DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE INTERNAL FEATURE OF AN ACETABULAR SHELL A device (100) for measuring one or more parameters of a groove (102a) of an acetabular shell (102). The device (100) includes a body (110), a plurality of flaps (140), a first actuation assembly (150), and a second actuation assembly (160). The plurality of flaps (140) is disposed at the distal end of the body (110) and configured to engage a rim (104) of the acetabular shell (102). The first actuation assembly (150) is disposed within the body (110) and operatively coupled to the plurality of flaps (140). The first actuation assembly (150) is configured to tension the plurality of flaps (140) to secure the acetabular shell (102). Upon displacement of the first member (162) along the X-axis, the ball plunger (166) engages with a top surface (102a-1) or a bottom surface (102b- 2) of the groove (102a), while the second end of the second member (164) engages with a side surface (102a-3) of the groove (102a).
