The sheet comprises a composite structure formed from agricultural waste- derived particulate and fibrous materials integrated with a natural elastomeric binder, resulting in a lightweight, structurally stable, and biodegradable product. The engineered porous and fibrous architecture enables effective absorption of sound waves by facilitating internal scattering, frictional resistance, and conversion of acoustic energy into heat, thereby reducing sound reflection, transmission, and reverberation. The invention provides an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional synthetic acoustic materials, addressing issues of high cost, non-biodegradability, and environmental impact. The acoustic sheet is suitable for application in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, offering improved acoustic comfort, reduced noise levels, and enhanced sustainability through the utilization of abundant agricultural waste resources.
