Abstract: Abstract Bioactive multifunctional fabrics have emerged as an innovative class of advanced textiles with significant applications in healthcare, biomedical engineering, and smart wearable systems. This project focuses on the development of an eco-friendly bioactive multifunctional fabric integrated with antimicrobial and wound-healing properties. The fabric substrate was functionalized using biocompatible materials such as chitosan, herbal extracts, and metal nanoparticles to enhance biological activity and fabric performance. The coating process was carried out using a sustainable surface modification technique to ensure uniform deposition and durability. The developed fabric exhibited improved antibacterial activity against pathogenic microorganisms, enhanced moisture absorption, breathability, and biocompatibility suitable for medical textile applications. In addition, the multifunctional properties of the fabric contribute to infection prevention, improved healing efficiency, and user comfort. The proposed bioactive textile demonstrates strong potential for applications in wound dressings, healthcare gannents, and smart biomedical fabrics while supporting sustainable and green textile engineering approaches.aiga
