The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a coal burner assembly (100) for a tangential firing system, designed to optimize combustion performance across variable load conditions. The assembly includes a cast coal nozzle (14) that delivers a pulverized coal-primary air mixture to the combustion chamber (17). The coal nozzle tip (18) features a primary air casing (22) with an integrated V-block (5) and flow stabilizer vanes, which divide the mixture into upper and lower streams, creating a fuel-rich zone for improved flame stability. Divergent plates (11) within the casing induce controlled turbulence, enhancing fuel-to-air ratio and combustion uniformity. A secondary air casing (23) surrounds the primary air casing, directing hot secondary air to cool the coal nozzle tip (18) and support stable combustion. The assembly ensures stable flame retention, uniform combustion, and efficient operation from low to full load, preventing boiler fuel trips and improving overall combustion efficiency.
