Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a sustainable concrete incorporating incinerated eggshell powder (ESP) as a partial cement replacement and recycled polypropylene fibers. The invention aims to address environmental concerns associated with cement production and construction waste by utilizing eggshell waste rich in. calcium compounds and polypropylene-based fibers recovered from discarded cement bags. The eggshell powder is processed through controlled thermal treatment and grinding to enhance its reactivity, while the recycled fibers are prepared and uniformly dispersed within the concrete matrix to improve crack resistance and ductility. The proposed composite material is designed to achieve improved mechanical properties, including compressive, tensile, and flexural strength, along with enhanced durability characteristics. The invention further provides an optimized mix proportion and preparation methodology to ensure effective interaction between the modified binder and reinforcing fibers. Overall, the developed concrete offers a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and scalable solution for sustainable construction with reduced carbon footprint and improved performance characteristics.
