Inventors include Kalpesh Aba Borse; Janhavi Pravin Ingale; Ganesh Bansi Patil; Patil Pravin Onkar; and Zamir Khan Gaffar Khan.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: Abstract DEVELOPMENT OF CARBON QUANTUM DOTS BASED FLUORESCENT SENSOR FOR QUANITIFICATION OF VONOPRAZAN This work developed a fluorescent carbon dot based fluorescent sensor called CQD to detect Vonoprazan (VONO) with high sensitivity and specificity. In the hydrothermal synthesis of CQD from neem leaves, powdered neem leaves served as the carbon source, eliminating the need for functionalization or other chemical reagents. Through a "turn-off mechanism, the CQD fluorescence is extinguished upon exposure to Vonoprazan.
