Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to the development of lightweight automotive car dashboard panels using a sustainable hybrid natural fiber-reinforced polymer composite. The composite comprises 40 wt.% hybrid reinforcement of neem and banyan fibers, 10 wt.% lignocellulosic sawdust filler, and 50 wt.% epoxy resin system including curing agent, providing an optimized balance between structural reinforcement and matrix integrity. The material is fabricated through a controlled hand lay-up technique followed by compression molding under a pressure of 3 MPa and curing at l20°C, ensuring uniform dispersion, enhanced fiber-matrix interfacial adhesion, and minimized void formation. The synergistic incorporation of hybrid natural fibers and particulate filler significantly improves load transfer efficiency, stiffness, and dimensional stability. The developed composite is specifically designed for the fabrication of durable, lightweight, and eco-friendly automotive dashboard panels, offering a sustainable and costeffective alternative to conventional synthetic fiber-reinforced materials for interior automotive applications
