Abstract: Laboratory tasks can lead to fatigue, reducing efficiency and consistency in experimental results. Hazardous environments also increase the risk of accidents, making safety a major concern. Therefore, there is a strong need for an intelligent automated system that can assist in performing routine tasks while ensuring safety and reliability. With advancements in embedded systems, sensor technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT), it is now possible to develop smart robotic systems capable of real-time monitoring, decision-making, and autonomous operation. The proposed Lab Assistant Robot aims to address these challenges by integrating sensing, control, and communication technologies into a unified system.
