Abstract: The development of a biodegradable hybrid bioplastic utilizing natural and waste-based constituents is the focus of this innovation. Polysaccharides derived from Tamarindus indica seed waste form the major constituent in the development of this bioplastic. Calcium carbonate derived from waste eggshells acts as a reinforcing agent in this bioplastic. After purification and drying, these polysaccharides are crushed and extracted. Subsequently, glycerol acts as a plasticizer to improve flexibility in this bioplastic. To improve the mechanical properties of this bioplastic, stiffness, and durability, eggshell powder is added to this mixture. Additionally, butterfly pea flower extract acts as a natural additive to improve functional properties like color indication and pH-sensing properties. In order to develop a biodegradable bioplastic film, this mixture is cast and cured under controlled conditions.
