Abstract: The present invention discloses a highly stable, thermosensitive, and mucoadhesive in situ gel delivery system for the localized management of oral mucosal lesions, particularly oral leukoplakia. The formulation comprises a thermo-responsive polymeric vehicle synthesized by dispersing a poly(oxyethylene)-poly(oxypropylene) block copolymer (Pluronic) at a concentration of 20% w/v under cool conditions, embedding a high-potency, reconstituted therapeutic core consisting of a 1:10 mass ratio of lyophilized raspberry powder and pomegranate peel powder bioactives. The formulation is a low-viscosity liquid under cool handling conditions, allowing uniform coating of irregular mucosal lesions, but instantly transitions into a high-viscosity hydrogel matrix upon exposure to physiological oral temperatures(34°C to 37°C). The resulting system provides an enhanced mucoadhesive separation force that resists salivary clearance and mechanical tongue movements, ensuring sustained, targeted antioxidant delivery directly to the compromised soft tissues.
