Abstract: The present invention relates to the development and validation of an analytical method for the combined dosage form of Liquid Paraffin, Milk of Magnesia, and Sodium Picosulfate in suspension. A robust and precise high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been established to ensure accurate quantification and quality control of these active pharmaceutical ingredients. The method involves optimized chromatographic conditions, including a stainless-steel column packed with base-deactivated end-capped octylsilyl silica gel, a mobile phase comprising acetonitrile and a phosphate buffer, and detection at 263 nm. Additionally, microbial contamination tests, uniformity of volume, and assay procedures for individual components have been validated for regulatory compliance. This invention provides a reliable and efficient approach for the routine analysis of this pharmaceutical formulation.
