Abstract: With the rapid expansion of mobile networks and the widespread adoption of smart devices, secure data transmission has become a critical requirement for modern communication systems. Mobile applications are increasingly used for exchanging sensitive information, including personal messages, financial data, and confidential records. However, conventional mobile communication architectures rely heavily on centralized servers, which are susceptible to security threats such as unauthorized access, data tampering, identity spoofing, and single points of failure. These limitations necessitate the development of more robust, transparent, and tamper-resistant security mechanisms for mobile network environments. The present invention proposes a prototype system that utilizes blockchain technology to secure data transmission in mobile networks. The system introduces a decentralized communication framework that ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and trust among users. By integrating blockchain principles with cryptographic security techniques, the proposed system overcomes the inherent vulnerabilities of traditional centralized mobile communication systems. In the proposed system, users are required to register and authenticate before initiating communication. Each transmitted message or data packet is processed using a cryptographic hashing algorithm, specifically SHA-256, to generate a unique and secure hash value. These hash values are linked with previous transactions to form a blockchain-like structure, ensuring immutability and preventing unauthorized modification of transmitted data. Timestamping mechanisms are employed to maintain the correct sequence of data transmission and to provide traceability for verification purposes. The system further incorporates a blockchain-based ledger for recording and validating communication transactions in a decentralized manner. This ledger is synchronized across participating nodes, eliminating reliance on a central authority and significantly reducing the risk of data manipulation, loss, or unauthorized access. A secure database module is also integrated to manage user credentials and message metadata while maintaining consistency with the blockchain ledger. The proposed prototype enhances security by enabling transparent verification of transmitted data without exposing sensitive content. Any attempt to alter or forge communication records is immediately detectable due to the cryptographic linkage between blocks. Additionally, the decentralized nature of the system improves resilience against cyberattacks and system failures, making it suitable for secure mobile communication applications. Overall, the invention provides an effective and scalable solution for securing data transmission in mobile networks using blockchain technology. The system is lightweight, practical, and adaptable to real-world mobile environments, offering improved data integrity, privacy, and trust. The proposed approach is applicable to secure messaging platforms, mobile data exchange systems, and other applications that require reliable and tamper-proof communication in mobile network infrastructures.
