MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641068258 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on June 01, 2026, for Detection Of Deceptive User-Generated Content Via Linguistic And Behavioral Modeling.
Inventor includes B. Sabitha.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for detecting deceptive user-generated content based on integrated linguistic and behavioral modeling approach. It gathers text and behavioral information from online platforms and uses natural language processing (NLP) methods to identify linguistic characteristics such as form, meaning, attitude and context patterns. At the same time, attributes of user behavior, including posting rate, temporal activity, and interaction history are analyzed for suspicious activities. The extracted information is then combined and analyzed with machine learning and deep learning algorithms to identify whether the content is deceptive or not. The invention also makes it possible to be able to monitor, learn and automatically create alerts in real-time, allowing for efficient detection and reporting of misleading content. The system proposed has the advantages of high detection accuracy, high scalability, reliability, and low misclassifications in multiple digital communication channels.
